Pineview PTO Meeting
December 10, 2007
Present: Val Leake, Faye Zibell, Carrie Arneson, Heidi Feller, Krisit

Mr Z.’s Fundraiser is still wrapping up. A few issues with honesty on the students’ part. Faye will handle this. Val sent a letter to the police about the one bad check from a parent.
Mr. Peetz. PTO will give $100 toward the cost of t-shirts and the students will raise the rest of the money. They are tie dying the t-shirts.
Pam Sheard has purchased both cameras for school use. Val will get her a check.
A decision was made to give teachers $50 Christmas checks again this year. The money should be used for classroom expenses.
Donuts with Dad was a HUGE success!!!!
Spring Fundraiser is a “go” with Original Works. Heidi will take care of this. The artwork will be generated in the classrooms this year. Teachers agreed to this at an earlier staff meeting and have picked themes for the students.
“Week of Love” itinerary handed to Tammy. Val will look into ordering jelly bracelets and we might sell flowers also.
Retro Bill is on. All schools will be participating. Mt. Olympus will be offering a hotel deal to him for $30 thanks to the Krieski family.
Ongoing discussion about field trip funding. Many feel it is not a good idea to place a dollar limit per grade or classroom.
Mt. Olympus fundraiser will have three dates. Faye will take care of picking dates and getting a flyer sent home to families.
Second quarter reward is sledding on January 18th. WE are looking for volunteers.
Next meeting is on January 14 in the cafeteria at Pineview.
