Pineview PTO Meeting

New Business
Spring Fund Raiser
Heidi will be speaking to the staff regarding the Art Fundraiser in
the Spring. It will be held during spring parent-teacher conferences.
We
will let the teachers decide whether they will do the art work with
their classes, or leave it to the art teachers again. Should there
be a theme for each grade level? We will keep half the money raised,
and give the other half to a local charity the students vote on.
Donuts With Dad
December 4: Early Childhood, K and 1st grade.
December 6: 2nd and 3rd.
December 11: 4th and 5th. Time 7:30-8:15.
Flyers will go out to families. Letters to teachers to have their students
generate art work for the tables.
We will get juice from the kitchen, donuts from Viking Village. Carrie
A. will order. Heidi will provide table cloth and napkins.

Retro Bill- Motivational speaker
April 29th.
3 presentations- held at Pineview. We need other schools to pay part
of fee. We are still waiting to hear back from other schools.
Val will pick Bill up at airport. He needs a place to stay- Hotel in
the Dells?
Mrs. Hayes Report
Teacher thank you for snacks for their aides.
The orchestra will be performing Dec 17th. Discussion on if we should
do something for them. No. We decided that their performance is part
of their curriculum, so no need to do extra.
Pam Sheard, librarian, would like 2 new digital cameras to be used
by all staff.
Discussion regarding buying more digital cameras. Val will look into
buying more. Our goal for now would be one camera per grade level.
Discussion of Field trips. Motion passed in favor of 4th grade trip
to Madison to visit capitol and IMAX.
Hall Monitors
Mr. Peetz requests 45 t-shirts. $6 per shirt. We will give Mr. Peetz
$100 toward purchase of shirts, the 5th graders can raise the rest
of the money, or use reusable belts instead.
Mount Olympus
PTO picks a day for families before Jan 31. The cost would be $6 per
person. $1 of each sale would go to PTO.
Faye will send out flyer. Date chosen-- Jan 27.
Heidi will speak at staff meeting Nov. 26.
Next meeting Dec 10th at Erin’s Snug. Short meeting, then dinner.
